"I had the recent experience of the brakes on my 14-ft RV camper trailer locking up while I was returning from the mountains in Western NC, while driving my F-150. I have been a AAA member for approximately 40 years and I immediately called it in for road assistance at a rest stop on I-40. In short, the link I was sent by AAA did not allow me to provide my ‘current’ location, which was 4 hours from home (in NC). Neither did the AAA link provide me with the opportunity to actually speak with a person. After many attempts to request roadside assistance from AAA without success, I then contacted my State Farm Insurance agent, Garion Bunn, in Fuquay-Varina, NC, to see if they could assist me. I spoke with Lucia, in Garion’s office, who confirmed that I did have roadside assistance on my Ford F-150, but not on my camper itself. However Lucia worked diligently to ensure that I got the assistance I needed while being stuck on the Interstate. A tow-truck arrived within the hour even though I did not have road-side assistance on the camper itself. Due to Lucia’s concern for my situation, and the kindness of the tow-truck driver, I got home safely a few hours later. I highly recommend Garion Bunn’s office for all of your insurance needs as his staff, and in this instance, Lucia, go above and beyond to assist their clients. -Karen Morgan"
